Spider Man3 ....in the lovers seat

hahaha yeah not only were SpiderMan and his gal in the lovers seat, Divya and I, we also opted for the lovers seat when watching it at MBK.
well was a choice of either pay more for the seats, or have an extra hour and half inside MBK....where Im sure with my skillful cousin she'd very quickly manage to spend more than the ticket cost :p

how was the movie?? hmmmm too many twists too many plots...too many characters....wasnt that impressive.

same night we went to an indian wedding with Mee at the Windsor Suite

Why do movies affect us so?

is it just me? or does it happen to anyone else too?
movies seem to affect me....well not that it changes my mood and make me more aggressive if Ive watched a violent movie, but the sad ones make me cry...eventhough I know its not real?

and yes ofcourse it doesnt help if Im already in a sad mood.

anyhow...this morning I woke up and decided to flick through the channels. seems to be a animated movies day? on different channels there were: Prince of Egypt, Shrek II and one other animated cartoon movie (however you call those?)

I watched The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. One of those 'chick-flick' I suppose....but there are parts of the movie thats really really sad :( made me cry actually...sighhhh

Die Weisse Massai

I decided Id check out Goethe Institute's Open Air Cinema, so I showed up there today for their 7.30pm screening. met up with Isabell there. and as it turns out Andrea, Chalitsuda and Anya from work were also there.
and no I dont understand any German...besides half of the movie was also in some african dialect. anyhow..if you wanna know more about The White Masai quite an odd movie Id say...makes me wonder if anyone would really do that...I guess its that amazing thing called love?

Casino Royale ..the new Bond

not only did I get to see it in Manila, but was also on one of those free pass. i want one of them!!! and to those complaining about Criag Daniels...I think he makes a pretty good Bond...leaving out the pretty bit :)
back in Bangkok on the weekend...and what awaits me on cable? a weekend filled Bond marathon movies on Cinemax :p saw a little bit of the Man with the golden gun (the one that was filmed in thailand years n years ago) gave me a chance to see what my neighbourhood looked like in those days :) BUT at the same time made me realise how clueless about thailand the hollywood types were in those days. the scene with 2 girls in the car? one of them says sawaddee kha, while the second goes on to speak chinese!!! not to mention that martial arts school in what looks to be a thai temple setting...hmmmmm
oh and my other evenings in manila....one night a drive around the old manila area....more reminders of India waybackwhen...although the walled city area is ofcourse what remains of the spanish era....and then theres the Bay area..not half bad. sorry no pics to share...too lazy...didnt even get one at Max Brenner afterall. although I did make another trip back there :)
